Scorpion Foods was established by Chris and Karen Lloyd in March 2009.

Chris has been a chef for over 18 years working in various Hunter Valley
restaurants including Chez Pok at Peppers Guesthouse, Cypress Lakes
Resort, The Apollo and Di’s Indulgence.

Scorpion Foods salad syrups are a truly unique taste sensation and the
reason we started our family based business. Restaurant clientele fell
in love with Chris' Salt and Pepper Squid and Thai Beef Salad – demanding to know where they could buy the salad dressing to be able to replicate his unique flavours and recipes in their own homes. As a result we starting bottling Chris' unique syrup to sell in the restaurant, giving Scorpion Foods and our product range the opportunity to grow and continue to grow.

Scorpion Foods source local products and is entirely produced in the
Hunter Valley. Every batch is carefully prepared by Chris personally
ensuring a quality and consistent product.

Scorpion Foods are gluten free and do not contain any artificial colours, additives or preservatives.

Our range is used and stocked by several restaurants and gourmet food stores including: Campbells Store in Morpeth, Wyld Ivy in St Ives, Red Apple Gallery in Maitland, Maddies of Bolwarra
and Ripples By The Lake Toronto.
