Salad Syrup:

Our salad syrups are a truly unique taste sensation and were the reason Chris started Scorpion Foods. His restaurant clientele fell in love with his Salt and Pepper Squid and Thai Beef Salad – demanding to know where they could buy the salad dressing. As a result Chris starting bottling it to sell in the restaurant and Scorpion Foods has grown from there. Our salad syrups come in 250ml glass bottles or 1 litre plastic squeezy bottles (250ml $12, 1 litre $44).

Chilli and Kaffir Lime Salad Syrup
Chilli Heat Rating 2/10
Serving suggestion: Thai Beef Salad
Finely slice your favorite vegetables eg carrots, spanish onion, cucumber, red capsicum and baby corn. Add lettuce and cooked rice noodles. Drizzle Chilli and Kaffir Lime Salad Syrup over salad. Top with thinly sliced steak (or substitute with chicken or seafood).

Chilli, Ginger and Lime Salad Syrup
Chilli Heat rating 8/10
Serving suggestion: Chicken and Mango Salad
Toss together cooked chicken strips, sliced mango, julienne spanish onion, shredded cos lettuce, red capsicum and Chilli, Lime and Ginger Salad Syrup. Top with crispy fried noodles.

Infused Olive Oil: Our infused olive oils are fantastic to use for your everyday cooking and salad dressings for that extra zing. You can team the oil with some sour dough bread and one of our yummy dukkahs for a fantastic snack – simply dip the bread in the oil and then in the dukkah for a yummy and healthy nibbly. Great for entertaining – simple yet your friends will keep coming back for more. Our infused olive oils come in 250ml glass bottles or 1 litre plastic squeezy bottles. Dukkah

If you’re entertaining simply serve one of our dukkahs with one of our infused olive oils and some nice sour dough bread or Turkish bread. Dip the bread in the oil and then into the dukkah for a yummy and healthy nibbly that your friends will rave about. Our dukkah range comes in a 50g package or a 120g glass jar (50g $5 and 120g $12)

Other serving suggestions:
- For a schnitzel with a difference, add some dukkah to your breadcrumbs.
- Coat you chicken, pork or lamb chops etc with dukkah before cooking for extra flavour.
- You can also sprinkle dukkah through your salad.

No chilli
Is popular with those who don’t like chilli. It has heaps of flavour without the heat and is great teamed with our Rosemary and Garlic Olive Oil.

Mayonnaise

Our traditional French mayonnaises are superb and will sit on your shelf for 4 months without needing refrigeration. Once opened they need to be refrigerated and consumed within a month – although we’re confident that once you try it you would have finished it within days because they are so delicious.

All our mayonnaises are fantastic with chicken and seafood and can turn a simple chicken sandwich into a gourmet dish. They are also great for using as a dip, or topping a potato. Our customers are known them eat them straight from the spoon!!

Roast Garlic, White Balsamic and Chive Mayonnaise Does not contain chilli. Perfect for your chicken sandwich, also great with prawns and fish. A great accompaniment to steamed vegetables, or toss through potato for a delicious potato salad. 250ml $12 Chilli, Lime, Garlic and Coriander Mayonnaise Chilli Heat Rating: Mild/Medium A delicious combination of flavours which will excite your taste buds – a great balance between the chilli and lime.
